To prepare the surface for installation of a closed cell duct liner we wire brushed and prepped the surfaces by grinding out the glue. We then replaced the open cell insulation by installing 3/4" Armaflex closed cell duct liner to ensure the acoustical goals of the system were being met.

The details of our work at the direction of the customer included contact HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) vacuuming 17 return air risers serving the second level of the podium section of the casino. HEPA vacuums and filters can trap 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or greater. Risers were cleaned 20 feet upwards or to a turn. Fire dampers in all 17 risers were contact HEPA vacuumed and hand wiped. As "America's indoor clean-air specialists" our company was called upon to service and clean the school's duct work, system registers and vents, and the air handling units within the renovated area as well as the enormous space resting above the auditorium. This area in particular was very strenuous and time consuming to clean due to the summer heat and the unideal space the team was working in. The auditorium's attic ductwork that we were servicing laid on an acoustic, insulating platform that limited our crew’s mobility and accessibility. The foundation of the auditorium's roof could not be walked on and therefore we used wood panels to move around and get the job done!
Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. began work on the campus of UConn Health in 2015. They were hired to clean 22 miles of new ductwork in the newly renovated research facilities and John Dempsey Hospital, as well as new construction, including a new patient tower that houses the operating rooms on the campus of UConn Health in Farmington, Connecticut.
Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. was hired to clean the ductwork at Laurel Race Track. We used a contact H.E.P.A. vacuum to clean the ductwork that services four AHU's and one fresh air for the following areas Silk Room, Club 1, Dead Zone, and fresh air return. We hand wiped all registers, diffusers, and grilles.
