Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. marks an important milestone this month - our 35th anniversary. Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. was founded in April of 1989 to address the emerging need for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) services. Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. recognized the specific service of cleaning ductwork and the HVAC components as an integral part of the IAQ equation.  

The team at Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc. has worked diligently through multiple economic cycles and COVID-19 and continues to provide excellent service to our customers. We continue to educate consumers on the positive impact that duct cleaning has on the indoor environment, the importance of energy savings, and positive health benefits for building occupants. Our clients understand the importance of maintaining great indoor air quality that results from our services.

All buildings are unique and have their own living ecosystem. As such their indoor environment is unlike other indoor environments and must be managed independently. So many factors affect IAQ and what we have found is that duct cleaning is an integral part of each IAQ equation. Any building that has forced hot and/or cold air is reliant on their air being distributed through their HVAC ductwork and components to the occupied spaces. Ensuring the air is being distributed through clean HVAC systems is imperative.

Within ten months of founding the company, we joined a new organization, NADCA, the HVAC Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Association. As one of the earlier members, we were told that we were the first company to be allowed membership that used portable HEPA vacuums in the cleaning process. The other members, which totaled about 13 companies (today there are approximately 1,400 members), used truck mounted vacuums. This milestone was the first by a company to recognize the need for the highest quality work and to protect the spaces in which we work. 

As a past NADCA President/Chairman of the Board and having held various board positions for over 15 years, Vinick continues to uphold NADCA's mission. During the

company's first 35 years of business, many milestones have been achieved. Michael Vinick’s devotion to fairness, honesty and an internationally recognized perspective has allowed the company to grow its reputation. Michael has been inducted to the NADCA Hall of Fame and has been the recipient of the NADCA MVP Award.

The company has grown in the size of its team, along with the array of clients and area that it serves. Today, we are proud to have a client list that includes government agencies, such as municipalities, state governments, and the federal government.
